Jay Young Leads UMC-UCH Foundation to Record Fundraising Success
Congratulations to JAY YOUNG, Chairman of the Board of the Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, who was instrumental in leading the Foundation through its "Your Health, Our Mission: Caring for Our Families Together" capital campaign that launched in July 2017. The Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation campaign raised more than $26 million, and was the most successful fundraising effort in the history of University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, as well as any organization in Harford County history.
In this photo, JAY is pictured at far right; second from left is Elizabeth Wise, President & CEO of University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health.
The money that was raised will support three local organizations: The Klein Family Harford Crisis Center, which offers behavioral, mental health and addiction services; Cancer LifeNet, which helps Harford and Cecil County residents deal with the physical, emotional and financial aspects of having cancer; and Senator Bob Hooper House, an assisted living care facility in Bel Air.
